About Us
LFSA has been a part of the Chicago’s North Shore community for over 30 years. Our professional coaching staff has trained and developed players who have gone on to play soccer for their high schools, colleges, USA National and World Cup teams. Over 80% of the Lake Forest High School girls’ and boys’ varsity soccer players were developed by LFSA. Our players are consistently selected for the Olympic Development Program on a regional, state and national level.
LFSA recognizes the importance athletics play in developing young adults of good character. Our program emphasizes sportsmanship, leadership and respect. Our coaches, administrative staff, volunteers and parents support these goals and work to make the team experience a rewarding and successful one for each player.
Our coaches are members of the Positive Coaching Alliance, which recognizes that winning as a team is important – but not at the expense of the individual player.
Our home fields provide convenient local practice and game locations. Our teams have access to excellent community facilities, lighted fields, and turf playing surfaces.
