Overview

Young Scouts Overview

The Young Scouts program provides children the opportunity to learn soccer skills from professionally licensed coaches at weekly skill sessions and and play games against other teams in the program. Our goal is to provide technical instruction to allow a child to build solid fundamental soccer skills, as well as have fun and enjoy the game of soccer. Tryouts are not required becasue the program is an in-house league of evenly-skilled teams which play against each other.

Our coaches ephasize:

  • Skill development and confidence with the ball

  • Teamwork

  • Respect toward teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials

  • Having fun and enjoying the game

Teams

Teams are formed at the beginning of the Fall season. New teams will be added for "Spring only." The program has 8-10 teams which make up our in-house league. These teams play each other each weekend during the Fall and Spring seasons.
