• Practices are on Fridays @ Everett School Park. 4:15-5:15PM GIRLS; 5:15-6:15PM BOYS

• 6 games will be played on Saturday mornings @ Everett School Park. 

• Registration fee for the spring season is $295. The fee includes a ball, practice shirt, and two jerseys.

Young Scouts Overview

The Young Scouts program provides children the opportunity to learn soccer skills from professionally licensed coaches at weekly skill sessions and and play games against other teams in the program. Our goal is to provide technical instruction to allow a child to build solid fundamental soccer skills, as well as have fun and enjoy the game of soccer. Tryouts are not required because the program is an in-house league of evenly-skilled teams which play against each other.

Our coaches emphasize:

• Skill development and confidence with the ball

• Teamwork

• Respect toward teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials

• Having fun and enjoying the game

Teams

Teams are formed at the beginning of the Fall season. New teams will be added for "Spring only." The program has 8-10 teams which make up our in-house league. These teams play each other each weekend during the Fall and Spring seasons.

Practices

Players participate in one practice session held on Fridays. Players should arrive on time and wear or bring the following every week:

• Soccer clothing: athletic shorts and t-shirt (LFSA practice shirt provided at no additional fee)

• Cleats and shin guards

• Water bottle

• Size 3 soccer ball (included in registration fee)

• Dress for the weather if it is cold or hot!!!

Games

Games are held on Saturday mornings at 9am or 9:45am. Players should arrive 10 minutes early and wear or bring the following to the games:

• Team Uniform (jersey included in registration fee)

• Cleats and shin guards

• Water bottle

• Size 3 soccer ball (included in registration fee)

• If it is cold, a turtleneck or sweatshirt is recommended in addition to the uniform jersey
