What makes LFSA the soccer club for you?
LFSA has over 300 kids with more than 93% from the Lake Forest & Lake Bluff communities and we are still growing!
From our Young Scouts League for 5-7 year olds to our travel soccer program which competes in 3 different leagues and in every level, LFSA has something for everyone.
With teams at every skill level(A division and on down), LFSA will provide your children with the best soccer experience possible. At the top level, two of our players have been selected to the Girls National Olympic team pool, 5 have been selected to be Regional Olympic Development Players and numerous at the state level.
All of our professionally licensed coaches are “Positive Alliance Coaches” and they bring that mentality to the field. Our own Director of Coaching, Oktay Akgun, was named the Illinois Girls Coach of the year in 2006 by the IYSA (statewide!).
Regardless of skill level, our philosophy is that every child be guaranteed at least 25% playing time. Because we properly place children on skill level appropriate teams (usually multiple teams per age group), children often play much more.
