It’s hard to imagine that October is here already! Our teams have been doing well, with lots of great wins, and tournament championships from the fall season. Below are club updates for this month:
New Practice Times
Because of shortened daylight hours, practice times will change as the weeks go on. Beginning Tuesday, October 10, the first practices will be 4:00-5:15 and the second practices 5:15-6:30.
Winter Indoor Schedule
Practices at Turf TIme will begin on January 8. Turf Time is located at 29800 Route 41, Lake Bluff. The winter schedule is listed on the website. We will practice two days a week for 1-1/2 hours (U8- one day). We will be scheduling a few games (no U8 games) and will be working on skills and fundamentals for most of the winter season.
Boys High School Team
The boys HS team will begin practicing on November 27. The schedule is posted online.
As we move into October, players should dress for the weather. Sweatshirts and other layers are fine for practices. During games, layering pieces under the uniform will help keep players warm.
