May 2017 Highlights
The Spring Season is well under way and our Club has been enjoying some nice wins! Congratulations to all of our players for their effort and commitment to the sport. May is a very busy month for LFSA. Below is information which will be very important over the upcoming weeks.
Rainouts
If you haven’t already done so, please consider signing up for the text message alert for rainouts. It’s located on the homepage on the far right side under field status. During the week, the Rec. Dept. will notify us by 2:00 if the fields are playable or not. We will send out text messages, notify team managers, and update the webite as soon as we can.
Tryouts
Tryouts are approaching fast! The website has been updated with the tryout schedule, age groups and locations. Registration is open for all age groups!
High School Girls and Boys Tryouts - Our first group to tryout is the high school girls and boys. High school players are encouraged to try out.
Register Now
High school girls play travel in the fall and winter and high school boys play in the winter and spring. This does not interfere with the HS teams where girls play in the spring for the HS and boys play in the fall.
U8-U15 Girls and Boys Tryouts- Walk-ins are welcome, however you are urged to pre-register your son/daughter for tryouts. Tryout numbers will be pre-assigned.
10 month season includes: August pre-season, Fall, Winter indoor season, and Spring seasons.

Young Scouts
Registration for the 2018-19 season is open. Register online for next season's Young Scouts beginning in September. Players born in 2012 and 2013. Older players can register for U8 travel teams.
Memorial Day Weekend
There will be no practice on Thursday or Friday, May 24 and May 25 or games on Saturday May 26, due to Memorial Day Weekend.
Summer Camp
Registration is now open for LFSA Summer Camps. Full and Half Day camps are offered in June and July. Register Now! Space is limited. Camps will be at Everett Park.

Spring is almost here. We are excited to get back outdoors for games and practices after spring break beginning on Tuesday, April 3.

Youngs Scouts
Young Scouts will begin April 12-June 10. If you played in the fall season, you are automatically on the same team for the spring season and do not need to do anything. Our spring registration is open if you have friends that would like to join. Please click here for more info.
Young Scout Practices: Thursday or Friday, April 12 and 13- Spring Season (Northcroft Park)
Thursdays or Fridays 4:15-5:15
Saturdays, April 14– June 10: Young Scouts Spring Games (LF Rec. Center). Saturdays 8:45 or 9:45.
May 24, 25, 26 – No Games/Practices over Memorial Day Weekend
Game Schedule - The game schedule for the Spring Season will be posted on the website under YOUNG SCOUTS by April 5.
Summer Camp
LFSA will offer full and half day summer camps in June and July for ages 7-14. This is a great opportunity for your child to continue their training, during the summer. The camps provide excellent skill development and are fun! Click Here for more info

Weather Cancellations
In case of poor weather, sign up for text message alerts at www.lfsa.org. A text will be sent out and your team managers will also be alerted.
Assistant Referee Clinic
The AR Clinic will be held in February or March 2018 (Date TBD) at the Gorton Community Center from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. The clinic is open to all players, U12 and above. I will send out an email when you are able to register online.
